Not a whole lot has changed, other than the fact that I feel huge! Things are getting harder to do, simple things such as bending over or vacuuming the house. I also bump into things a lot with my belly because I forget it is there! My little munchkin is getting so big in there we can see her moving around rather than just feeling little kicks! It is amazing. I always sit there and wonder if that is her head or her but or a leg or an arm.
Housework is coming along. We are pretty much in the final stages of the improvements before we can start actually working on her room. Matt is beginning the painting process of his new office today and soon we will paint the kitchen, then upstairs to paint her room. We are finally making progress but I am still freaking out looking at the nursery that looks nothing like a nursery right now, thinking that in no time at all we need that room to bring our baby home to! It will all be fine though and everything will be done before she comes home.
This past week I have been sick and it seems like every day I wake up I have gotten worse. I have the whole head cold, stuffy nose, clogged sinuses that has now moved into my chest. No fun at all wile being pregnant and only being able to take a select few medications! Matt was in Chicago on a business trip until Friday and came straight home to begin taking care of me. I missed him so much while he was gone, last thing I wanted was to be sick have to have him take care of me when he got home. He is amazing!
Lana graduates from school this Tuesday. She is graduating with her certification in Medical Assisting. She loves her new field and I am so proud of her! She has come so far and I am excited to see her continue to grow. Lacy is graduating from USF next month. I am so proud of her as well. She has worked so hard to get to this point. The whole family is excited to be able to celebrate with them.
A pet peeve I have realized of mine.... when people ask me how much weight I have gained. Why does it matter and why does me being pregnant make it okay to ask me how much weight I have gained? It's not okay any other time in a person's life, why now? I will do my best to never ask someone how much weight they have gained while pregnant!
*Thank you for letting me vent about that*
Sorry no pictures this time, I completely forgot. I will definitely get one up next week when I am 30 weeks!!!
Yuck! I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. Tell your sisters congrats for me, big things going in your family right now, very cool! I am going to try tonight to "officially" follow you on here, I get the updates sent to my google reader and I keep forgetting my password and user name here. I love you and pray you get to feeling better. Praise the Lord for Matt, I'm glad you have a wonderful man!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely missed seeing you yesterday at church. So sorry you're still not feeling well. Congrats to your sisters! As far as the weight gain, you can nicely respond with, "I've gained the required amount." And if someone makes a stupid remark like they said to me, "Are there twins in there?" you can definitely put them in their place! What idiots.
