Change in Plans

Just to share... I have decided to follow my motherly instincts and some advice I received from a friend, Janell, and my wonderful mother. Gwen will eat at night, hopefully just once, when she wakes up for it, if she sleeps through the night, thats great, if not, thats okay. I love my baby girl and cannot starve her! If she is hungry, she needs to eat. When she is ready to sleep through the night she will do so. I definitely feel better about this decision than the previous of making her cry through the night! She did wonderful last night. I fed her at 10:30 and she slept until 4:00am, I fed her and changed her and put her back to bed, then we woke up at 7:30! Every baby is different and I will not try to force my baby to sleep through the night for selfish reasons or because her doctor says to do it!
