It was a great weekend. Started off on Saturday by going to Matt's parent's house to relax in the pool. I have been wanting to go to the pool for months but haven't been able to find the time, so we actually had to schedule time to go. After that, we went to my mom's house to celebrate Lacy's graduation! Yay! So excited for her! Then we went and got pedicures. Came home to find that my amazing husband put together our new shelving unit that you put the baskets in for the babies room! I was so excited to see that. Then Matt and I had a wonderful date night, which we had to make a point to schedule because life has gotten so crazy, and I am sure will only get more crazy. We went to Roy's in Tampa, which is our all time favorite restaurant. It is a once a year, spoil ourselves kind of date, but it was necessary. I loved being able to finally sit down with Matt and relax and talk. I love my hubby and am so grateful for all of the time we get to spend together. On Sunday, my amazing church family threw me a baby shower, hosted by Brooke and Katie (2 ladies I loved very much!) I was definitely showered with wonderful gifts for our little girl. We definitely won't have a shortage of clothes!
The rest of this month is going to be absolutely crazy! I have tons of doctors appointments, we have to start taking all of our childbirth prep/ newborn care/ breast feeding classes as well as doing the hospital tour. We also have to start interviewing pediatricians! Man oh man, its a good thing we did date night when we did! It's a bit overwhelming to look at my calendar, but I am so incredibly excited. It is getting to real and so close it is unbelievable. On Thursday, I will be 34 weeks! How time flies!! My last day of work in on Friday August 20th. That is bittersweet. I will definitely miss most of those I work with, but I am so excited to be given the opportunity to be a stay at home mom!
I know I have been bad with the pictures lately, but I will make sure Matt takes some belly pictures this weekend.
Wait...wait...wait. You "loved" us? Meaning you had love for us but now it's gone?! JUST KIDDING! We love/loved you too and that's why you deserve nothing but the best! :)
