As of today I am 22 weeks along! I cannot believe I am more than half way through this pregnancy. It is going way too fast. I am cherishing every moment of it though. I do have to say that since being out of the 1st trimester, I absolutely love being pregnant! The 1st trimester was pretty rough, but I feel amazing every day and knowing what's going on inside my body brings me such joy.
My stomach is pretty hilarious. It starts off each day as a cute little baby bump and then as I go through out the day it seriously doubles in size. It makes me laugh quite a bit. I get so bloated, I don't feel sick or anything, I just gets big with my food then I sleep and it gets smaller again.
I have to say that this past week my stomach has just popped! It is definitely growing and I love seeing it. I was worried that I wasn't going to be okay with getting bigger at the beginning of the pregnancy, but now I love looking pregnant.
This little girl of ours is a mover! She is so active. It is so amazing sitting here and just feeling her move around in my belly. I love it. It is truly one of coolest, kind of strangest, feeling I have ever felt. I cannot wait until Matt can feel her move. I have a feeling it will be soon. One of the most precious things to me is when Matt and I will be hanging out and he just lays his hand on my belly. He is going to be an amazing daddy. I cannot wait to see him with our little girl. He is definitely going to be wrapped around her finger. I have a feeling I will cry every time I see him with her for the first little while.
This next week is going to be a bit crazy, hopefully I can keep up. This weekend is my birthday so we have a couple of family celebrations to go to. My sister-in-law and her son will be coming down on Sunday for a week so we will be hanging out with them every night taking in as much of them as we can in a week. Matt and I will be going to register some time this week, taking Jenni (sister-in-law) so we make sure we register for only the necessary. We are so excited to be able to see her and be able to spend time with them.
Here are a couple pictures from 21 weeks:
